Edgewater Man Shot In Back; Suspect Surrenders: Police
An Edgewater man surrendered Sunday to police on attempted murder charges for reportedly shooting an acquaintance in the back.

EDGEWATER, MD — A man charged with shooting an Edgewater man in the back turned himself in to Anne Arundel County Police Sunday afternoon to face attempted murder charges. Officers were called to a shooting Feb. 10 on Brick Church Road, where a man was found suffering from a minor gunshot wound to his lower back.
While the victim at first was uncooperative, detectives identified the suspected shooter as Peter David Lambden, 48, of 29 Brick Church Road in Edgewater, who is known to the victim. Authorities have not released the victim's name.
During a search of Lambden’s residence authorities reportedly seized multiple firearms. Lambden was not home at the time of the search, so an arrest warrant was issued charging him with attempted first- and second-degree murder, use of a firearm in a violent crime, multiple counts of an illegal possession of a firearm and other weapons offenses.
