Edgewater residents protest proposed school redistricting

85 Edgewater residents attend protest at the Board of Education regarding redistricting Edgewater students to Annapolis schools

7:30 am - 8:30 am Tuesday: 85 Edgewater residents peacefully protested outside of the Anne Arundel County Board of Education Building at 2644 Riva Rd, Annapolis, MD. Protesters carried signs with the message "Edgewater Kids Edgewater Schools" indicating their opposition to proposed redistricting which would move Edgewater children North of the South River on the Route 2 corridor into the following Annapolis schools: Mills Parole Elementary, Bates Middle School, and Annapolis High School.
