Edgewater YMCA Camp Hosts Family Labor Day Weekend Campout

EDGEWATER, MD — YMCA Camp Letts invites area families to attend family camp Labor Day Weekend at their Edgewater location on an isolated 200-acre peninsula off the Chesapeake Bay. Camp begins Friday, Aug. 30, at 3 p.m. and runs through Monday, Sept. 2, at 6 p.m.

According to YMCA Camp Letts, the camp is idea for families with kids ages four to 16, although younger kids are welcome. The camp offers an array of staff-led activities including sailing, kayaking, canoeing, archery, a ropes course, a zip line, a campfire and a square dance. All meals are provided in an air-conditioned dining hall.

Historically, dozens of families attend the camp from the area and beyond, traveling as far away as Florida and New York. For more information, visit campletts.org.
