Registration is now open for the Seventh Annual Central Elementary School Tiger Trot on Saturday, April 28, 2012. Register Online at www.mycentralpta.org.
Race activities include a 5K run and a One Mile Fun Run/Walk. The course is flat and fast and is contained entirely on the school campuses of Central Elementary and Middle School and South River High school. The marked course will include access roads, parking lots, and some sidewalks and paved paths.
5K Run awards are presented for the top three male and female finishers in numerous categories: K-1st grade; 2nd-3rd grade, 4th-5th grade; 6th-8th grade, 9th-12th grade, ages 18-29, 30-39, 40-49 and 50+.

The One Mile Fun Run/Walk is primarily for younger runners. The run is a timed race with prizes awarded to the first three finishers in several male and female categories. The categories are K-1st grade, 2nd 3rd grade, and 4th -5th grade.
Entry fees are $20 for one race and $25 for both. Registration closes Thursday, April 26, 2012 @ 11:59 PM PST. All entry fees are non-refundable.

A pre-race spaghetti dinner, silent auction and raffle will also be held at Central Elementary on Friday, April 27, 2012 from 5:30-7:30pm. Tiger Trot participants are able to prepay $6 with their race registration or $10 at the door. Children under 5 years old eat free.
Race day schedule begins with the 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk Start at 8:00am. The 5K Run starts promptly at 8:30am. The awards ceremony at Central Elementary will wrap up the morning at 9:30am.
