American Legion Post 226 Riders are hosting a Chili Cook-Off at the Post in Edgewater, Maryland. The cost to enter is $20 and there are cash prizes and trophies for the winning cooks! Door prizes also available for attendees. All chili must be at the post, in a crock pot, and ready to eat by 12pm on Sunday, February 26, 2012 to be judged at 1pm by a panel of 5 chili expert judges. Chili will be judged on texture, flavor, consistency, spice, taste, aroma, and color. Following the judging at 1pm, there is a Craft Beer Tasting occurring at the post featuring Flying Dog and Heavy Seas Brewery beers and hot dogs, nachos, and chili will be available for sale.
