Twenty years ago, Food Link opened its doors with the mission to lead efforts in alleviating hunger in our community by linking vital resources to families and individuals in need. Food Link has become the last stop when traditional support programs fail or turn them away. Donated goods and services are the core of the program which supports over 75 agencies and charitable organizations in Anne Arundel County and the Eastern Shore.

In 2010, close to 1,000 families were helped directly from the Food Link office, on Riva Road. Through the Wholesale Produce Program, Food Link was able to help at least 1,000 families each week. And over 400,000 individuals and families sought and received emergency assistance through the Food Link network of recipient agencies. Even more staggering is the fact that Food Link distributed over two million pounds of food and other essentials to people in need in 2010. Food Link is a vital resource to people in need.

Food Link, Inc., is the largest non-profit hunger relief and food rescue organization in Anne Arundel County and four counties on the Eastern Shore.
