Benfield Gallery in Severna Park is pleased to present "The Many Faces of Watercolor" an invitational solo exhibit of watercolors by nationally recognized Maryland artist Ardythe Jolliff. This award-winning artist has devoted her career to painting. Her paintings invite viewers to use their imaginations and explore with her the wonders of nature. She depicts light and shadow, rich color and world's special glow in her watercolor paintings. Jolliff is well known for her local scenes of Annapolis and the Naval Academy. The public is invited to meet the artist on Saturday, June 2, 2 - 4 pm. Jolliff will discuss her techniques and the source of her inspirations when creating a painting. Light refreshments will be served at this free event.
