Fire Engulfs Davidsonville Garage, Sustains $40,000 Damage
A fire June 22 caused $40,000 to a three-bay, 1.5-story detached garage in Davidsonville. The owners reported the fire.
DAVIDSONVILLE, MD -- Two departments battled a garage fire Saturday morning after the owners reported the structure on fire. Firefighters from the Annapolis Fire Department and Prince George's County Fire/EMS Department responded to the fire Saturday, June 22, at 7:52 a.m. at 2416 Rutland Rd.
The three-bay, 1.5-story detached garage was completely engulfed in flames by the time firefighters arrived. Almost 40 firefighters fought the battle that took 10 minutes to control. Estimated loss is $40,000.
