Firefighter, 2 Residents Injured in Townhome Fire
Fire officials say three people suffered minor injuries and two Crofton residents were left homeless by the blaze.

Two Crofton residents suffered minor injuries Wednesday night when their townhome caught fire, according to authorities.
The Anne Arundel County Fire Department says crews were called about 8 p.m. to a two-story townhome on fire in the 1600 block of Bancroft Lane West in Crofton.
Firefighters saw heavy fire from the rear of the townhome in the middle of the row. The fire was brought under control by 30 firefighters in about 45 minutes.

Fire officials say the home’s two residents, a 33-year-old woman and a 34-year-old man, were treated on the scene for minor injuries and taken to Anne Arundel Medical Center. A firefighter was also taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The fire is under investigation. Damage is estimated at $50,000 for the structure and $10,000 for the contents in the residence. Two other townhomes suffered an estimated $10,000 and $5,000 respectively in structural damage.
