Anne Arundel County Recreation and Parks serves millions of residents and visitors annually through a wide variety of services and programs. Its primary focus is to provide comprehensive recreational programs for residents and safeguard valuable land through the maintenance and management of over 160 parks and natural areas. The department manages specialized recreational facilities, including two swim centers, two golf courses, three ice rinks, a baseball stadium, a softball complex, and programs tailored to diverse needs ranging from school-age childcare to adaptive recreation. It also cares for thousands of acres of land, encompassing community parks, greenways, archaeological sites, environmental and historical preserves, and large regional parks spanning several hundred acres. Its mission is to create opportunities that allow individuals to enjoy life, explore nature, and restore their health and well-being. The LifeSense Program provides free classes with accurate information, a supprotive environment and encouraging advice.  LifeSense also allows pregnant women to earn baby by taking any three of our free classes.Register online at <a href="http://www.lifesenseclasses.org" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">www.lifesenseclasses.org</a> or call 410-295-3839.  Classes are FREE but registration is required.The Pregnancy Clinic offers free services including pregnancy testing; 3D/4D ultrasounds for pregnancy viability; STI/ HIV testing and education; medical, legal, housing, counseling, adoption and community resource referrals; parenting support and material assistance; and post abortion counseling.
