Free Pet Loss Workshop April 12th from 1-3pm

Have you or someone you know lost a pet?

Grief is probably the most confusing, frustrating and emotional experience a person can face. It is even harder for pet owners because society doesn’t give pet owners “permission” to openly grieve a loss that amounts to a death in their family. Dogwood Acres Pet Retreat is sponsoring, at no cost, a Pet Loss Workshop to help bereaved pet owners cope with their grief and realize they are not alone.

This small group workshop, conducted by Hospice of the Chesapeake, includes a welcome, a time to share individual stories, an introduction to the grief process, an art activity to honor the beloved pet, brainstorming and suggestions for healthy coping

There is no charge to attend but a RSVP is required as space is limited.
