Friday Memorial for John 'Jay' Miller, Davidsonville Businessman
Visitation will be Friday in Galesville with service slated for Saturday in Davidsonville.
The owner-operator of , a repair, auto parts and Sunoco service station in Davidsonville, died Dec. 12. John "Jay" Miller was 53 years old.
According to Hardesty Funeral Home, visitation is from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, 905 Galesville Rd., Galesville.
The service is at 10 a.m. Saturday at at 826 West Central Ave. in Davidsonville. Burial will be at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in West River.

According to the obituary that ran in The Capital on Thursday, Miller was a third-generation owner of the service station and a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. He enjoyed hunting, baseball and spending time with friends.
The obituary said that Miller is survived by his wife, Susan Wayson Miller, a son, David Matthew Miller, daughter, Valorie Lynn Miller and parents, John Miller Sr. and Barbara Moreland Miller, all of Davidsonville. He is also survived by a sister, Judith Elaine Miller Jones, and brother-in-law, Elwood Jones of Annapolis.
