Friendly's Offers Back-to-School Specials for Kids
Friendly's says it's hoping to ease the pain of kids returning to school with meal specials in Edgewater Sept. 19-21.

EDGEWATER, MD — To help ease the pain -- for kids at least -- of returning to school, the Friendly's Ice Cream chain is offering a$1.99 kids’ meal with the purchase of any adult entrée. The discounted offer begins Monday, Sept. 19, and runs through Wednesday, Sept. 21, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Friendly’s $1.99 kids’ meals allow children to customize their dinner by selecting their preferred beverage, entrée and ice cream of choice. Entrees include crispy Chicken Fingers, easy-to-eat Cheeseburger Sliders, and the classic Friendly Frank, all served with a side.
Once parents give the OK, kids can end their meal with something sweet like Friendly’s famous Monster Mash Sundae boasting mint chocolate chip ice cream with M&M’s and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, or the customizable Candy Shop Sundae, featuring a scoop of any Friendly’s ice cream flavor and two additional toppings, at no extra cost.
