Hispanic Festival Community Outreach Event Set In Severn

Anne Arundel County will hold Hispanic Health Festival and Resource Day Sept. 29 in Severn.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — The annual Hispanic Health Festival and Resource Day, the largest celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month in Anne Arundel County, will be celebrated on Saturday, Sept. 29.

“Our county is home to a growing Hispanic population and this festival will help connect residents to services,” said County Executive Steve Schuh. “Events like this help build stronger bonds between the Hispanic community and county government.”

The event aims to benefit the Hispanic/Latino community of Anne Arundel County, its surrounding areas, and the community at large, officials said in a news release. This year, officials will continue to offer access to health care services for underserved communities and limited English proficiency individuals, by healthcare providers from various NGOs and local and state government agencies. In addition, educational and informational services will be provided allowing people to be acquainted with and procure community resources.
