How To Learn More About Anne Arundel County School Board Role

The Anne Arundel County school board will hold an information night for anyone considering running for a seat.

EDGEWATER-DAVIDSONVILLE, MD - From Anne Arundel County Public Schools: The Board of Education of Anne Arundel County is sponsoring an information night later this month for anyone who is running or may be considering running for a Board seat.

The event will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, February 20, in the Board Room of the Dr. Carol S. Parham Building, located at 2644 Riva Road in Annapolis. It will be facilitated by Molly Young, Director of Board Development for the Maryland Association of Boards of Education.

At the event, information will be provided on the authority and responsibilities of members of the Board of Education. Those attending need not have already filed to run for one of the Board seats up for election this year.

Members of the Board of Education of Anne Arundel County will not be present or take part in the event.
