Immersion Day At Historic London Town Planned For Jan. 18

EDGEWATER, MD — Take a step back in time and immerse yourself in London Town circa 1771. Immersion Day at Historic London Town & Gardens will take place Jan. 18 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. where guests of all ages can learn about the history of this era. Chat with tailors, shoemakers, teachers, cooks, servants, enslaved people and merchants who braved frigid overnight temperatures and warmed themselves by open fires.

Participants in Immersion Day will discover the meals they ate long ago, consistent with this historical period and observe just how the people lived centuries ago. Engagement in Immersion Day is included with the price of general admission.
