Last Chance: Register for SRYA Field Hockey
Registration for South River Youth Athletics' field hockey programs will end on Friday.
If your daughter is interested in playing field hockey with South River Youth Athletics (SRYA) the deadline to signup is quickly approaching.
Registration for SRYA fall 2013 field hockey programs for all age groups ends on Friday, July 19. Practices will start August 1, and games will begin after Labor Day, according to SRYA’s website.
Registration can be completed online. The cost is $40 for Sticklettes and $125 for Pee Wee, Middle and Junior. Age groups for girls field hockey are broken down by age not grade:

Sticklettes: Kindergarten – second grade
Pee Wee: Grades 3 and 4
Middle: Grades 5 and 6
Junior: Grades 7 and 8
SYRA is getting new uniforms for the upcoming season, and all players are required to purchase a new one. Details on the new uniforms can be found online.

Anyone interested in playing SYRA field hockey will need a regulation field hockey stick, shin guards, a colored mouth guard, cleats and goggles.
