Learn How To Fly Fish From A Kayak Feb. 15 In Davidsonville

DAVIDSONVILLE, MD — Avid outdoorsman Mark Bange will present a workshop Feb. 15 at the Free State Fly Fishers Club of MD clubhouse at 10 a.m. that highlights how to kayak fish in local waters. During the presentation, Bange will address why fly fishers would want to fish from a kayak and how to select the best kayak, along with proper gear, lures, flies, local catches and safety essentials.

Bange also will cover the places where an angler can launch his or her equipment. The class will run from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. The class is open to members; new members are invited to join the club the day of the class. The clubhouse is located at 3789 Queen Anne Bridge Rd., Davidsonville.
