Leonard Arnold "Feet" Rollman, 84, of Edgewater

Leonard Arnold “Feet” Rollman, of Edgewater, MD passed away on May 30, 2015. Born on May 11, 1931 in Washington, D.C., to the late Leonard and Esther Rollman, he joined the military after a year at George Washington University.

“Feet” was a sergeant in an Army medic unit during the Korean conflict, where he received a Commendation Ribbon with Medal Pendant. He owned and operated “Feet’s” Amoco Station in S.E. Washington, DC, from 1967-2000. “Feet” loved sports, especially football, which he played semi-pro in his younger days. Spending time with family and friends was his greatest joy.

Leonard is survived by Esther, his wife of 58 years; his daughter Susan (James) Kissane and their children James, Roch and Liam; a stepdaughter, Esther Richardson; a stepson William Deaver; a granddaughter Regina (Eddie) Ahmed and their children Ethan, Gabriel and Zeke; a grandson William (Katie) Deaver and their children Brennan, Erin and Patrick; three brother-in-laws, Albert Masri, Farouk Gongee and Hassen Masri.

Friends may call on Tuesday, June 2, from 4 p.m. until a funeral service begins at 6 p.m. at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road in Edgewater. Interment will be at a Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Cheltenham, MD, at a date to be determined.
