Man Arrested For Lothian Gas Station Robbery: Police
A 27-year-old Friendship man has been arrested and charged with robbery, armed robbery, first degree assault and theft $100 to under $1,500.
LOTHIAN, MD — Anne Arundel County police officers have arrested a 27-year-old Friendship man who they believe is responsible for a robbery at the Dash In on Mount Zion Marlboro Road in Lothian. The incident occurred Feb. 16 at approximately 1:45 a.m. The suspect entered the store, indicated he had a weapon and demanded cash from the register. The clerk complied and the suspect then took off.
Officers searched the area but could not locate the suspect, according to a police report. After investigating the incident, robbery detectives identified the suspect as Bryan Karl Gettman. He was arrested by the Anne Arundel County Police Fugitive Apprehension Team Feb. 25 and charged with robbery, armed robbery, first degree assault and theft $100 to under $1,500.
