Man Crashes Car Into Davidsonville Store, Officials Report
A man in his mid-50s crashed his vehicle into the Davidsonville Country Market early Sunday morning and had to be extricated.
DAVIDSONVILLE, MD — An unidentified driver had to be extricated from his vehicle after sustaining life-threatening injuries when he crashed into the Davidsonville Country Market at 801 W. Central Ave. The accident occurred at 12:47 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 20.
An Anne Arundel County Fire Department spokesman told the Baltimore Sun that the driver was in his mid-50s and was freed from his vehicle in approximately 90 minutes. He was flown by Maryland State Police helicopter to the trauma center at UM Prince George’s Medical Center. He was listed in critical condition Sunday morning.
Damage to the building appeared to be extensive, the Baltimore Sun noted. The man's vehicle plowed into the building and stopped inside the structure.
