Marjorie “Marnie” Hope Bonari, 87, of Edgewater, MD, passed away peacefully to be with the Lord on May 12, 2015.
She was born Marjorie Balmer in Allenport, PA on February 27, 1928. She married Lawrence Bonari before moving to Maryland in 1949.

Marnie loved Maryland and the Chesapeake watershed. She cherished her time playing the organ, knitting, baking and decorating her home and yard during the holidays. Most of all, she adored her three beautiful, accomplished daughters, six wonderful grandchildren and her dogs, Abbie and Jack.
Marnie was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Lawrence Bonari. She is survived by her loving daughters, Larianne Golle and her husband Vince, Amy Cullers and her husband Randy and Adele Kozycki and her husband Mike, she is also survived by her grandchildren, Michael and Matthew Harvey; Ryan Cullers, Natalie Cullers Brianas, Kal and Clare Kozycki.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Marnie’s life from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 14 at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road in Edgewater. Entombment at Lakemont Memorial Gardens will be private.
