Meet Duke, the 'Superstar' of the SPCA Shelter
This cute dog is one of many pets who is ready for adoption.

A new dog recently arrived at the SPCA of Anne Arundel County, and the staff and volunteers say they're in awe of his intelligence.
Duke was brought to the Annapolis animal shelter after his family left the area due to a military transfer. He's been enrolled in a special training course, and he knows the "sit" and "down" commands as well as "place," or to stay in a designated location, the shelter says on its Facebook page.
Duje has mastered the shelter's agility equipment, becoming an "agility superstar," according to the Facebook post. "You can just point to a specific piece of agility equipment and he knows what to do."

He's looking for a home without cats "and would do best with older children because of his high energy level," the shelter says.
