Motorcyclist Thrown Against Tree In Lothian Crash

LOTHIAN, MD — A Waldorf man was seriously injured Wednesday morning when he crashed his motorcycle and slammed into a tree, according to Anne Arundel County Police.

The accident happened about 8:25 p.m. in the area of Sands Road and Whittington Drive in Lothian. Investigators say Antonio Omeekco Hall, 39, of Waldorf was southbound on Sands Road when he failed to make a turn, was thrown off his 2009 Suzuki motorcycle, and struck a tree.

Hall was flown to the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore by Maryland State Police medevac helicopter with possible life-threatening injuries.

Charges are pending completion of the investigation, police say.
