Motorcyclist Thrown, Critically Injured In Friendship Crash
A motorcyclist was critically injured when he was thrown from his bike in a crash near Friendship, authorities say.

FRIENDSHIP, MD — A motorcyclist who was thrown from his bike was critically injured in a single-vehicle accident late Saturday night in Friendship, according to Anne Arundel County Fire Department officials. About 11:50 p.m. firefighters were called to a crash at the traffic circle at Solomons Island Road and Friendship Road.
Officials say the motorcyclist, a 34-year-old man, struck the center of the roundabout and was thrown from his motorcycle. A Maryland State Police medevac helicopter landed at Traceys Elementary School and flewd the patient to the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center with injuries that were critical and possibly life-threatening.
The name of the driver has not been released.
