Robbers Take Trash Bag Full of Cigarettes: Police

Two suspects made off with cash and plenty of smokes when they robbed the Davidsonville Market.

Armed robbers reportedly held up Davidsonville Market Wednesday night, taking cash and a trash bag full of cigarettes.

Anne Arundel County Police say the robbery happened about 10 p.m. at the market, 801 West Central Ave. in Davidsonville.

The clerk said two suspects came into the store, one carrying a semi-automatic handgun, which he pointed at the cashier. The armed suspect ordered the clerk to open the register. The clerk then removed an undetermined amount of cash from the register and gave it to the suspect.

The suspects then filled a trash bag full of cigarettes and left in an unknown direction.

The first suspect is described a black man, 5’8” to 6’, weighing 190 pounds, possibly in his early 30s, who was armed with a handgun. Police say the second suspect is described as a black man, 5’8” to 6’, weighting 190 pounds, possibly in his late 20s. Both were wearing black ski masks, black jackets, black gloves and blue jeans.

No injuries were reported in the holdup.
