Robert “Bob” Weaver, 93, a 52-year resident of Annapolis, and previously of Annandale, VA, passed away on May 7, 2015 at his home.
He was born on December 8, 1921 in Worthington, WV. He served in the United States Army during WWII. Following the war, Bob was employed as an award ceremony speechwriter for the United States Department of the Army.

He enjoyed sports and history.
He is survived by his wife, of 52 years, Alma; his sister Martha Orwig; nephews, Randy (Carla) Kesling and David (Sandy) Think; his niece, Faith (Tim) Westman; and several other nieces and nephews.

Bob was preceded in death by his siblings, Bill and James Weaver, Mary Louise Kesling, and Peggy Griffin.
A funeral service will be held at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road in Edgewater on Monday, May 18, 2015 at 2 p.m. Interment will be at Lakemont Memorial Gardens, Davidsonville.
