The board also will receive Superintendent George Arlotto’s proposed fiscal 2018 capital budget.
The capital budget establishes funding priorities for construction projects at schools across the county. The board will conduct a public workshop on the budget beginning at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13, in the Board Room. No public testimony will be taken at the workshop, but testimony will be taken at a public hearing scheduled before the board takes up initial adoption at its regularly scheduled Sept. 21 meeting. That meeting begins at 7 p.m.
