South Anne Arundel County Relay for Life Kicks Off June 10
The American Cancer Society fundraiser starts Friday evening at South River High School.

Edgewater, MD — The South Anne Arundel County Relay For Life overnight walk-a-thon to be held June 10-11 at South River High School will celebrate survivorship and raise money for the American Cancer Society.
The fundraiser begins at 6 p.m. Friday and runs through 6 a.m. on Saturday, June 11.
Register as an individual or form a team to Relay in honor of a relative/friend. Team members take turns walking the laps throughout the evening.

Special events (opening ceremony, luminaria ceremony, fight back ceremony), games, give-aways, activities, DJ, and more are planned. Possible activities include a dodgeball tournament, karaoke, a volleyball tournament, special themed laps, a live auction, Queen of the Relay, water balloon toss, and more.
The goal for each team member is raise $100 in donations to become a member of the “Hope Club” and earn an event T-shirt. Fundraising can be done online, through team fundraising activities and on the night of the event.
