South County Man Charged in String of Burglaries

A Rosehaven man is charged with four break-ins in Tracys Landing, and police say more charges are likely.

A Rosehaven man has been charged in a string of four burglaries in the Tracys Landing area that were reported between June 30 and July 7, according to Anne Arundel County Police.

On June 30, two burglaries were reported in the 6400 block of Old Solomons Island Road; on July 3, another was reported in the 6200 block of Solomons Island Road; and a fourth in the 300 block of Fairhaven Road was reported on July 7.

Detectives recovered property from one of the burglaries and obtained an arrest warrant for Roger Ashley Allen, 33, of 604 California Avenue in Rosehaven.

On July 10, officers arrested Allen at his house, and found evidence reportedly linking Allen to all four burglaries.

Allen is being held at the Anne Arundel County Detention Center on a violation of probation and burglary-related offenses. Police say additional charges related to the burglaries are likely.
