The South River Ice Hockey team started the New Year where they left off with a 3-1 win. South River scored twice in the first period with goals, from Mike Williams, (Assisted by Nick Kandra) and Ty Kaplow, (Assisted by Destin Frantz). Both teams played a tight second without any goals being recorded. South river added to their lead in the third period with a goal from Ethan Frantz, (Assisted by Alex Martin and Brendan McMullen). The South River defense limited the Dulaney scoring chances, led by Tommy Pedersen, Chris Loveridge, Luke Gabel, Ty Kaplow and Nick Kandra. Time in net was split between Zach Baxter (35 minutes, 14 SOG, GA 1) and Evan Jones (10 minutes, 7 SOG, GA 0).
