South River’s late third period goal ties game. Luke Gabel got South River going with a goal early in the first period on a slapshot from the blue line. Fallston answered back in the same period with two goals of their own. Both teams played a back forth second period and neither team was able to put a puck in the net. Early in the third period South River went on the power play and Brian DeVol was able to get a tip in to even the score at two. Fallston was able to score their third goal of the game with just over a minute left in the third. For the final minute of play South River forced the play into the Fallston end after pulling the goalie, with 11 seconds left on the clock Chris Loveridge scored with a wrist shot from the top of the slot tying the game at 3-3.
