South River Volleyball Club Plays in Capitol Hill Classic

Players from the South River Volleyball Club were among the hundreds who took part in the Capitol Hill Volleyball Classic over the weekend. 

The club sent four teams to the three-day tournament held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC. The event featured hundreds of players, all girls between the ages of 12 and 17.

Top performers included the Storm 14U team, which finished in the top ten out of 73 teams in its division. 

Here's a look at the results of all the SRVC teams:

• 13U team - Record of 0-7, 54th out of 56 teams
• Storm 14U - Record of 4-3, 9th out of 73 teams.
• Surge 14U - Record of 3-4, 26th out of 73 teams.
• 15U Team - Record of 3-4, 29th out of 97 teams.
