South River Wrestlers Head to States
South River's Austin Alley qualified to wrestle at 126 pounds. His brother, Collin, will wrestle at 145 pounds

South River High will have two chances at a state wrestling title this weekend with twin brothers Collin and Austin Alley earning berths.
Austin Alley will wrestle at 126 pounds, after securing a record of 42-4 on the season. He will open against Malachi Edmond of North Point.
Collin Alley will compete at 145 pounds and open against Jacob Asher of Dulaney Valley.

In an interview with Patch in January, both Collin and Austin Alley said that a state title for the team, as well as individual titles, were goals for the season.
The MPSSAA state wrestling tournament will take place Friday and Saturday at Cole Field House in College Park.
