Suspicious Death In South County Could Be Homicide: Police
A suspicious death in southern Anne Arundel County could be a homicide, police said. Detectives think it was a targeted act of violence.

TRACYS LANDING, MD — Police said a suspicious death in Tracys Landing could be a homicide. Officers noted that they found the body of 58-year-old Juanita Naomi Koilpillai Sunday in the 6300 block of Genoa Road. Medics pronounced her dead on the scene after apparent trauma, a press release added.
The investigation started around 3:28 p.m. when a boyfriend reported that his girlfriend was missing and that there was suspected blood in the home, the write-up mentioned. Authorities explained that they executed several search warrants and found preliminary evidence pointing toward a potential homicide.
The Maryland Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will conduct an autopsy in Baltimore to determine the cause and manner of Koilpillai's death, officials informed. Detectives think this was a targeted, not random, act of violence.
