Teen Critically Injured In ATV Crash Near Lothian
Two teenagers collided head-on Sunday while driving ATVS in a field outside Lothian. A 15-year-old male suffered critical injuries.
LOTHIAN, MD — A 15-year-old male suffered life-threatening injuries Sunday afternoon after the ATV he was driving crashed head-on into a second ATV. The accident happened in a field at approximately 2:16 p.m. Sept. 29 along 609 Bayard Rd. in Lothian.
According to the Anne Arundel County Fire Department, the 15-year-old was transported by the Maryland State Police Medevac helicopter to the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center. A teenage girl driving the second ATV was evaluated by paramedics on the scene but did not sustain any injuries, responders said.
