Teen Flown To Hospital After Overturning Golf Cart
A 13-year-old sustained serious injuries when a golf cart she was riding in overturned. A 14-year-old passenger also required medical care.
HARWOOD, MD -- Several teens were injured at Southern High School in Harwood Sunday night when they managed to overturn a golf cart in which they were riding. Anne Arundel County firefighters responded to the incident June 23 at 6:27 p.m. and found a 13-year-old girl in need of urgent medical care.
The Maryland State Police medevac helicopter flew the teen, who was a passenger in the golf cart, to John Hopkins Children's Center with serious injuries. A 14-year-old girl was transported to Anne Arundel Medical Center with minor injuries. Another 13-year-old who was driving the golf cart didn't require medical care.
