Thomas C. Seltzer Jr., 81, of Edgewater, died August 30, 2015 at the Mandrin Inpatient Care Center in Harwood. He was born in Baltimore on Sept. 9, 1933, to Thomas C. Seltzer Sr. and Leah R. Kirby Seltzer.

Thomas was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a longtime mechanic with the Ford Motor Company and was employed for many years with the National Plastics Plant in Odenton, where he retired in 1998. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Estelle Seltzer, who died in 1979.

He is survived by his daughters, Karen M. Seltzer and her husband Brett Ward and Michelle A. Seltzer. He is also survived by his sisters, Sandra Brady , Lois Ports and Kathy Price, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Friends may call on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Hardesty Funeral Home, 851 Annapolis Road in Gambrills, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 5. Interment will be at Fort Lincoln Cemetery in Brentwood, MD.
