VIDEO: South River vs. Broadneck Girls Basketball
South River delivered Broadneck their first loss of the season, 51-34.
(ranked 11th in the division) girls had two basketball games this week. The first, against Meade (ranked 8th) at home was a disappointment with a final score of 85-65. But on Thursday, they came out on top against Broadneck (ranked 7th), 51-34.
Top scorers for South River were Bre Bolden and Domonique Hagins. Top scorers for Broadneck included Dinah Jones and Kameron Ward.
Next, the girls head to North County for a Tuesday game. Then on Thursday, they'll play at Arundel.

The girls JV team also won against Broadneck on Thursday. The boys varsity and junior varsity both lost their games to the Bruins.
