Volunteers are needed to give out water and help direct athletes during the TRI 4 The CHESAPEAKE Triathlon and Duathlon, which takes place Sunday, September 28, 2014, at the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center (SERC), 647 Contees Wharf Road, Edgewater, MD 21037. This is a great opportunity to see a triathlon/duathlon up close and help a local organization. Proceeds benefit the Chesapeake Bay Trust and SERC. This is also a wonderful community involvement opportunity for high school students and boy scouts, as well as adults.
