It's the best pumpkin to make a fresh pumpkin pie recipe. Some people call them crook neck pumpkins and some people have never even seen one. When I was buying one last year at Homestead Gardens a man walked up to me and told me it was obscene. I just giggled and walked away. There is a picture of one in my recipe.
