Planet Fitness Eldersburg Expands and Gets “Re-Equipped”

TIMONIUM, Md. (June 1, 2026) Planet Fitness – one of the nation’s largest and fastest-growing franchisors and operators of fitness centers with more members than any other fitness brand – announces that its Eldersburg club at 6300 Georgetown Blvd., Eldersburg, MD 21784 – was recently upgraded with additional square footage and equipment valued at $425,000.

The now 13,342-square-foot club gained 1,842 square feet of space to accommodate five treadmills, two platforms, two weight trees, a hack squat, plate-loaded chest press, plate-loaded incline chest press, plate loaded seated calf, stair stepper, preacher curl and dumbbell rack.

“Although we opened a little more than a year ago in January 2025, it was important for us to expand our footprint and offer a greater equipment selection to the Eldersburg fitness community,” said Miles Brooks and Hunter Jarmon, project managers with Ohana Growth Partners (OGP), one of the largest franchise divisions of Planet Fitness.

“In particular, the new plate-loaded options give members the opportunity to load each piece their way and get stronger at their own pace,” they added.
