Biggest Win in Liberty High School’s Marching Band History

The Lions' Pride 2016 original production of “Beware, The Frozen Forest” won 3rd place by having an overall score of 97.50 (judged on a 100-point scale). In addition to being a Gold Level Finalist band, Liberty was recognized with top honors in the categories of High Visual and High Brass. The Pride beat out twenty bands for these sought out special awards. In the category of Best Drum Major, Liberty received 2nd place. No other band at this year’s ACC brought home a combination of such honors.

The Lions waited 17 years to celebrate a new championship. Cheer on Liberty's achievements by using the hashtag #LHSMBHistory2016 across social media platforms to provide a continuous roar of hometown pride.
