Basket Weaving Class at the Piney Run Nature Center - The Ultimate Pie Basket

Please join us for another exciting and rewarding basket weaving class at the Piney Run Nature Center led by master weaver Joan Betzold. Students will create the "ultimate pie basket" designed by Joan. The handle is strong and incorporated so the basket can handle the biggest pie...14 inches across. You will use an old technique to allow the pie to sit flat and not have the "bump" you typically find in a round basket. This class is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 12th from 9a-3p. The cost is $80 per student and includes the park entrance fee and all weaving materials. Students will need to bring their lunch and some supplies.
