In her three years as Executive Director, Judy has enhanced the success of the Arts Council and achieved several milestones, including spearheading the 50th Anniversary celebration of the Arts Council. She also secured a matching grant from the Maryland Heritage Areas Authority for the full renovation of the theatre, which happened while the building was closed during the early months of the pandemic. “The Board is most appreciative of Judy’s transitional leadership, especially throughout the past difficult year,” says Thomas Sterner, Board President.

Other achievements under Morley’s leadership were implementing an Arts Center season pass, emphasizing greater diversity in theatre programming, and restructuring the staff and office layout. During COVID-19, Morley garnered over $650,000 in emergency grants, keeping the Arts Council afloat while maintaining the staff.

The CCAC Board is undertaking an executive search for the new director. To find out more about the executive search, please contact Board President, Thomas Sterner at thomas-sterner@outlook.com.
