“Complications from Covid-19 have caused a cash crunch for a lot of businesses, and that especially holds true for non-profit organizations like the Lions Club,” Brusio asserts. “So with the blessing of Coldwell Banker, and the cooperation of Roaring Run Lions Club District 22W, I came up with the idea of a comic book/nostalgia show for Carroll County which could benefit local charities.”

Operating from Coldwell Banker’s Westminster office, Brusio is often found working on new ideas that help him specialize in special needs. In 2020 he published the comic book Debbie Fights Coronavirus to give teachers content for virtual learning, and to give kids with autism a visual resource that tackled the anxiety of Covid-19.

“Putting a face on an invisible enemy that put us all in lockdown changed the way that I think. I figured, what worked in 2020 can work in 2021. So this year, the many faces of pop culture will help raise money for a lot of people that need it. Whether its comic books, posters, records, toys, CDs, DVDs, VHS, you name it, if people grew up with it, we’ll do our best to have it at the show.”
