The Maryland Joint Committee on Administrative, Executive & Legislative Review held a public hearing today on the regulation passed by the Maryland State Board of Education mandating masks in all public schools. After hearing testimony, the committee voted to require any person inside a school facility to wear a face covering.
Effective tomorrow, Wednesday, September 15, all CCPS students, employees, and visitors will be required to wear a mask when inside our school buildings and facilities in accordance with this law.

Like last year, principals will work with families and students regarding questions for this requirement. Please contact your child’s school should you have any questions.
