that a celebration of the retirement of founding director Audrey Cimino will
take place on Sunday, Oct. 17, 2021, 11 AM - 2 PM, at Martin’s in Westminster,
Maryland.
The Community Foundation of Carroll County is celebrating
its founder, Audrey Cimino, and her 25+ year legacy of serving the needs of the
Carroll County community. Cimino tirelessly led the CFCC from 1994-2020. It was
her vision that brought the community foundation concept to Carroll County,
growing it from humble beginnings in the offices of Carroll County Bank &
Trust Company. Today the CFCC has more than 8 million dollars in assets and
supports over 320 causes and scholarships.

Cimino’s retirement was announced on March 30, 2020, but due
to Covid-19 closures a celebration was postponed. This celebration is overdue
and much deserved. Jaclyn Mathias assumed her new role as executive director on
April 1, 2020.
Celebrating Audrey Cimino: Impact. Legacy. Change. is an
opportunity for family, friends, colleagues, and clients to gather in honor of
Cimino and celebrate all she has accomplished in Carroll County. Our lead
sponsors include Hill Development LLC, Tevis Energy, Manchester Manor
Retirement Community, and Command Sergeant Major (Retired) Thomas Beyard.
