The
Board of Education of Carroll County will announce in public session that they
will meet in closed session at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, as permitted by the Maryland Open
Meetings Act, Section 3-305 (b) of the General Provisions Article of the
Annotated Code of Maryland and Section 3-103 of the General Provision Articles
of the Annotated Code of Maryland, to discuss
the appointment, employment,
assignment, promotion, discipline, demotion, compensation, removal,
resignation, or performance evaluation of appointees, employees, consult with
legal counsel, consider the acquisition of real property for a public purpose
and matters directly related thereto; and discuss matters related to
negotiations.

The Board of Education of
Carroll County will hold a Board meeting on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at 5:00
p.m. Board
members and most staff are present in the Boardroom. Some 

staff
may be participating virtually.  Due to
COVID-19 restrictions, the public will not be able to attend the meeting, with
the exception of those who wish to speak during Citizen Participation. All
citizens must wear a mask in the building and when they address the Board.
