The Carroll County Arts Council and the Leister Quartet will present their second Third Wednesday Jazz Series at the Carroll Arts Center this season. This series of eight jazz concerts will feature amazing jazz from local musicians and special guests. Each concert will also benefit a local nonprofit organization. The Leister Quartet performs a sophisticated menu of Swing, Jazz, and Blues standards mixed with original compositions. Monte Leister fronts the quartet bringing his decades of musical experience, while Miles and Zion’s prodigy and passion fill out the rhythm section. The group will be joined by different guest artists for each concert.

  • September 15, 2021 – The Leister Quartet with Reverend Chops and the Rockabilly Ruckus, benefiting The Marriage & Relationship Education Center

  • October 20, 2021 – The Leister Quartet with Chad Seymour, benefiting Carroll County Food Sunday

  • November 17, 2021 – The Leister Quartet with Cliff Thompson, benefiting Carroll County Habitat For Humanity

  • Each concert begins at 7pm. Tickets are $10 for each concert with 40% of ticket sales benefitting a local charity.
